Thank God for Helanka!!

Helanka is my mother. For those of you that think I get my firey side from my red hair, you are wrong. It's from my beautiful mother who has filled my life with wisdom, love, and compassion. Anyone who hangs out with me long enough will hear me quote my mother so I figured I would compile a short list of Helanka's truths and sayings.

1. "Will the perfect person please stand up?"

2. She'll often follow a complaint I have with "Well, people in hell want ice water!"

3. "No one comes with a gaurantee."

4. "People higher up the ladder have fallen farther than you."

5. "You can fall in love more than once."

6. "Love the one your with."

7. "He'll get whats coming to him."

8. "Get over it."

9. "Life's just a shit sandwhich... and sometimes you gotta take a bite."

10. "Liquors quicker!"
